(3) solvent resistance. Polyester has strong resistance to general non-polar organic solvents, even to polar organic solvents at room temperature. For example, at room temperature in acetone, chloroform, toluene, trichloroethylene, carbon tetrachloride soaked in 24h, fiber strength does not decrease.
